LOCATION

Edgewater Motor Lodge is located in Napier the Art Deco capital of New Zealand. Napier along with its sister city Hastings are the main centres in Hawke's Bay Wine Country. Hawke's Bay is located on the east coast of New Zealand.

Driving Instructions

From SH2 South
Approximately 10km south of Hastings on SH2 there is a turnoff at Paki Paki signposted ‘Napier’. Do not take this turnoff. Remain on SH2 to Hastings and follow the SH2 signs for Napier. From Hastings you will travel through Clive and then drive parallel to the beach towards Napier. At the city boundary (50km sign) continue straight ahead along Marine Parade for approx 2km, past the National Aquarium of NZ on your right, and you will find us at 359 Marine Parade.

From Taupo/Gisborne, SH2 North, SH5
Just past H.B. Airport turn left at ‘City Centre’ signpost. Drive along Meeanee Quay, over the bridge to the roundabout where you turn left and follow ‘Port’ signs. This will take you around the bottom of Bluff Hill, past the port, after which the road becomes Marine Parade. Continue straight through the roundabout and you will find us about 900m further along on the right, just past Marineland.

SH50/Expressway
Take the first turn on left after the Meeanee Rd traffic lights, signposted ‘Kennedy Rd/City Centre’, just prior to the overbridge. (If you miss this turn go over the bridge, turn right at the roundabout and take the first right into Trinity Cres which will take you into Kennedy Rd where you will turn left) Continue along Kennedy Rd to the end where you cross railway tracks. Continue straight ahead at the traffic lights, past KFC on the right, through the next lot of lights and into Tennyson St. Travel straight up Tennyson St (3 sets of lights) to the roundabout at the end. Turn right onto Marine Parade and you will find us about 900m further along on the right, just past Marineland.
